My bare nails..

An extremely rare sight..

Katy Perry's famous manicures

We all know and love her. I kissed a girl and I liked it...

Can someone please tell me how AWESOME this is!? Haha, this isn't me but I came across it and I'm seriously impressed. I'd totally get Cheeto puff nails and then Coca-cola toes :)

First Post!

Yay! My first post. I'll be talking about on here my favorite past time.. doing my nails! I'll talk about how I do them, the colors I love, post tons of pictures, and even post amazing nail art that's not mine. My very favorite brand of nail polish is OPI :).

It all started when I was 16.

I was in the AT&T store, which was probably called Cingular at the time, with my mom and the girl helping us, her nail color was amazing! So i told her, "I love your nails!" and she goes, "Thanks! It's called I don't do dishes by OPI." I had to have that color.

Now I had never been one to paint my own nails and care for them myself. I had acrylics for years and would always get crazy colors, but that got expensive so I decided to give natural nails a try. Haven't had acrylics on since.

That next week at school my friend Cassie and I went on a search for 'I don't do dishes' during our lunch break and I bought my very first OPI :).

Ever since then, my nail polish collection has multiplied by 100 or more! Yeah, they are 9 bucks a bottle but it's so worth it to me. I've learned the technique, pushing down my cuticles, filing, buffing, cutting, the right amount of paint, my favorite nail shape, what polish looks good with short nails, what polish looks good with long nails, which ones are good with my skin tone, etc etc.

Lets get started!
